I hope you realize you come out looking like a jerk too... I mean you did order him to lose the mending without explaining to him why he should lose it. I mean, it is your choice what skills you bring in RA and no one else chooses for you. BTW I've gotten glad points with mending warriors on my team... just because they have mending doesn't mean they don't know how to hit things and do damage @_@

well i just had a scammer try to get my 20/20 sundering sword hilt. told me he could double it for me in a glitch. so we traveled out to thirsty river and he ran off to a ghost. he said to drop it and then type in a "code". so i typed in code befor eiw as suppsoed to and nothing happened of course. He then told me i had to drop my items first so i dropped the only thing i had brought

a really crappy fellblade that i was about to scra and as soon as that happened he talked to ghost and i was beamed to his location. the guy then immediately took off running to pickup my shiity fellblade thinking i had dropped my sudnering sword hilt :P

his name is EDIT: DON'T POST NAMES! IT'S IN THE THREAD TITLE! btw just in case any comes across him or can report him

I think it's too bad he didn't scam you successfully. That's your fault for following him in hopes of taking advantage of a glitch (whether it really exists or not).

The biggest jerk I have ever encountered...hmm. That'd have to be this one guy. Yes I tried to say his name, and got edited by Unienaule. (This was a while ago). He bribed a new officer with a superior vigor to promote him to an officer for 5 minutes ('just to see what it's like'). Our new officer, thinking he could demote him again after getting the rune, did so. Knight Devany then kicked all our members, and of course, no rune. When another officer logged on and, unsurprisingly, kicked off at him, Devany said "I hate this guild". What?! You can hate within a minute of being in it?. Problematic child.

More recently it was in AB. Quite funny though...

Me: Eh? (I look at the name, and see he's the Necro I stuck a few spells on)

He picked up a guy's Dragon Mask and Totem Axe off the ground (the guy dropped them) Once he got the entire alliance into a flame war and nearly got our guild kicked. He leeches from the team if they don't shower him with free rares and spams the chat with "where are my drops."

I was in RA American District 1 (hooray for flame war central!) a few days ago and was watching this flame war between two people.

I can't remember the exact conversation but here are some choice quotes.

Flamer 1: STFU nub u aint no gangsta
Flamer 2: I know I'm not a "gangsta." In fact, I don't really want to be, gangstas are gay >_>

That was the start of the flame war, when it really started to get insulting. I tried to mediate it, but to no avail. Now I know flamers can't be helped.

Later on...

Flamer 2: Hitler wanted to get rid of Jews, not [profanity] like you.
Flamer 1: [more profanity]

Even later...

I just met the biggest jerk I've ever seen online.

If you've done Urgoz, you know that there's a part with a bridge with enemies on it, and to get to the top to pick up your drops you have to sacc and kill yourself. Well I was saccing to go get my gold armor. This asshole who was alraedy up top kept healing me. When I finally died, he rezzed me and... my item was gone. I went back through the logs, and I realized that the same guy who rezzed me, who knew FAIR WELL that I was only going up to get my drop, had picked it up. I was upset, and I asked him very nicely to give me my drop. It started with "I think you picked up my item by mistake, can I please have it" to "Please? It's mine.." and finally "Dude I am BEGGING you, that's my drop that you just stole". He wouldn't give it to me. He even had the audacity to open trade, put my gold in it, and cancel it after I hit accept. All he said was "I played by the rules of the game, your name dropped and I picked it up." He KNEW I was going to get my armor. And yet, he has the audacity to ASK THE REST OF THE PARTY IF ANYONE HAD AN ID KIT HE COULD USE. Everyone was asking him to just give it to me, and finally I got so upset I just left the party.

Note that the guy who did this to me was the same person who, earlier in the game, was just standing in the back, not moving, and collecting drops as we went on, not fighting, because he didn't think we could make it and called the party "A lost cause". I was monking, and when he finally decided to come help again, I kept him alive, I healed him even though I didn't want to. We showed kindness to a leach and THIS is how I am repayed.

Things like this make me wonder why I'm still on guildwars. Y'know what, I quit. *sighs*

well i have a few stories about this...

1) Last mission. We get a warrior and a monk with us who said "we already did mission but need bonus. After the bonus is done the mission is cake so we will do it with you if you help us on mission". We couldn't get anyone else so i figure.. yea ok why not. I ask them several times, " are you sure you will go through whole mission because if you are going to leave after bonus that would suck. If that is the case please let me know and i will invite you in another group when i do bonus seperatly. I'll put you on friends list... no problem." They are offended. "I can't beleive you would think that, BLAH BLAH BLAH" So we invite them in and do mission and bonus. we had: 2 monks, a ranger (interupt i think), 3 warriors (2 w/mo 1 w/e), me (an ele/necro), and a mesmer (?). SO we do bonus and immediatly they leave. I'm a bit pissed needless to say. If one left, ok fine. MAYBE he got booted. It has happened to me. THEN the mesmer leaves. NOW i'm really pissed. Long story short, the FIVE of us beat the mission and kill lich. That monk was AMAZING. The other four are still on friends list.

2) I'm working on a new build of 2 man UW group. An ele/necro (me) paired with a mo/w. I make this perfectly known that i am doing field research for the practicality of this new build. I am going to offer to fully pay the 1k (no big deal but i figured it was my research so why not) and i just need a solo mo/w to come with me. In addition, i say that i will turn over any sucessful build info that i gather from our little experiment, which, if things went well... would make the run alot quicker and therefore more profitable. this is not the first time i have done feild build research or validation so i do know what i'm doing. apparently someone hung idiot chow from my neck because immediatly this jerk of a mo/w start hounding me. "Your a noob. there is no way that is going to work. Ect." He even goes so far as to suggest that he knows the build i'm thinking of and reads off this completely idiotic spell combo. I mean this was just a BAD spell combo for any situation and wouldn't really provide any kind of benefit AT ALL in an UW enviornment. So i decide to shut him up and bring his skill set to the public and ask if ANYONE thinks that would at all be useful... as he apparently thinks that that is what i am testing. Needless to say people start laughing. i point them in his direction, he yells "Go RED ENGINE" at me and swiftly decides he has a pressing matter and logs off.

hope i got the go red engine thing right.....

IDK about u but whenever i'm in a town i get invited to a group, i accept and i ask "so what can i assist u with?" the guys says this " " i ask three more times while he invites more people they ask the same frikin thing, then once we have a full party annnnd we head out into an explorable area i stick with him for a bit untill people start leaving.

i ask him nicely "would u plz talk to me?" once again he answers " " so i ussually just jet outta there im not sure if they are jerks or just confused all i know is it gets on my nerves.

so, my group runs to the central control point @ start, we cap, own everyone there, blah blah. we go on to win 500 to 75 :O! some assassin says this to my group.

him: stupid go red engine touchers! get a real build noobs! (or close enough)
me: this IS a real build.. you just have the wrong counter >.< (or close enough)

i turn off local.

ok, after the match is over he starts whisper spamming me, saying..

him: your a noob toucher.

him: toucher build isnt even supposed to WORK.
me: ...
me: i think you have your info wrong (close enough).
him: READ ME THE EXACT WORDING FOR EXPERTISE.
me: '.. energy for all non-spells is decreased by 4%..'
him: ... brb.

he logs off. i add him to friends so i can see when he gets back on.

sometime later he re-logs.

me: am i right? :P
him: *silence*
me: ello?
him: *silence.

i stop at this point. i was in RA and had to concentrate..

I know who you are talkinga bout he tried the same thing with me but with my kuunavang. I knew what he was doing the whole time though. I PMed him for 2-days straight, he also had ugly war fow too. I told him to get on my vent but he refused, so i got on his TS instead. First thing was he was about 12-14 and E-bays lol. He also seems to think that he is a hardcore thug which i also almost pissed myself laughing at him. After laughing for a good 2 min. He said no man im black out of nowhere thinking that i would stop making fun of him or something. First he kicked me off his public TS and then he put me on ignore on both accounts lol.

Saw him in LA dis1 and had some fun in all chat with some others that he tried to scam. He left after a while, had a friend put a stack of ectos up in trade to him lol. Not sure how many but think it was a stack. Kept saying accept accept. I would have felt bad if he would have lost them lol.
